We wanted a gazebo for a big family gathering, expecting that we would need it to keep the sun off everyone. In the end it was helpful to keep the gentle rain off everyone, but anyway - we were very pleased with the purchase. So - it came very nicely packed in its own carrying case. It is very light, and very easy for two of us to assemble. Once it was up it looked very impressive, and no one could believe that it only cost about 50 quid. We had it up for three days, during which there was some rain and some wind, which it coped with fine. Glad to have had the leg-weights thought - I don't think the string+pins would have held it in place. If the wind was any stronger or the rain any heavier we might have been in trouble, but it did the job very nicely.

The metal frame is nicely coated and seems reasonably sturdy, no worse than my previous more expensive gazebos. The canopy also seems to be good quality. Aged almost 80, I was able to erect and put the gazebo away without help in about 30 minutes, although that did include 'walking' it a few inches at a time over a large wrought iron table that is too heavy to move. The missing star is due to the so-called rope that is more akin to string and came without tensioners. The pegs are so thin as to be almost useless so if you buy this item, be prepared to buy decent guy ropes and pegs also. Fortunately, I already had some so overall I am satisfied with the product, but I wouldn't use it if heavy rain or strong winds were forecast.

Why did you choose this product over others?: Broke after first use. Would not recommend. Finally managed to work out how to set it up (instructions not great and also had to use a YouTube video) and used tent string/hooks to secure into ground, however a gust of wind managed to blow the e whole thing over and snapped one of the legs so it is now completely unusable. We can’t now even fold the metal frame down to get rid of it because of the broken leg so will have to find someone to saw the leg off. Nightmare purchase

This is a good gazebo for the money, we’ve used it a few times and it’s quite good in reasonable weather, i.e. light wind, gentle breeze. Unfortunately we took it out in high winds and had a side panel on(bought separately), and one of the zigzag extensions for the roof broke, it still held up for the rest of the day but I’ll have to buy a new piece, which I believe can bought on Amazon for about £20. All in all, good for the money but be careful in high winds.

Used to reduce rain on part of garden for woking repairs. Old 20 year old camping gazebo adjacent survived fine when some increasing gusts of wind came in but this popup collapsed before we could take it down. It also came with no instructions so wasn’t aware of any limitations, but was easy to put up and we were pleased with it, as once put together its easy to fold up (needs 2 people though). Wind was only 20mph with occasional gust and the legs bent heavy rain collected and i suspect that caused the failure but it was about 1/3 the cost of our old gazebo. Will keep the second one and try it out on calm days.
